379 Juan Bahama And The Exotic Asian Chill Out

Sunshine and Starshine are behind the microphone on this episode.  We settle into the lounge, dim the lights and begin sipping a blended drink that was inspired by a meme.  Sure, inspiration can come from anywhere.  Juan Bahama may or may not run for office in 2020 but you enjoy this frosty libation regardless of the political climate.  The ingredients for Juan Bahama are easy to find so we cannot recommend enough that you sip this one while listening to the podcast.  Provided you are at home and not in your car.  

The music in the lounge this week is called "Exotic Asian Lounge Chill".,  It that exotica?  No.  Is it great to relax with a cocktail in your dimly lit tiki bar?  Certainly.  Those who listen to the ZTL podcast often will know that we like to push the boundaries of appropriate tiki bar music to include classic exotica, sea shanties, surf rock, asian meditation, hapa haole, hawaiiana and so much more.  And no home tiki bar would be complete without a little classic 80's or 60's hits to put you in a positively wonderful mood.  After all, the mindset we are all looking for is one of positive vibes and leaving the real world behind.  

We are nerding out just a little bit this week.  Both Sunshine and Starshine are elated to have Mystery Science Theatre 3000 coming back, this time on Netflix.  After a few episodes of the latest incarnation we are happy to report that the spaceship of love is still engaged in B movie torture with commentary that is worth its weight in transparent aluminum.  With a new and old cast MST3K is just one more opportunity to mix one of our tantalizing cocktails, dim the lights and step back in time.  Try some air popped popcorn with the same Chinese 5 spice we used in this weeks cocktail.  Delicious and exotica.
