Sunshine, our host and award-winning amateur mixologist, shares his recipes for the cocktails featured on Zen Tiki Lounge podcast. These drinks are delicious and the recipes are updated over time. They range from simple, to complex are often stronger than they appear.

In a back and forth text, Sunshine and Starshine were discussing savory cocktails. Starshine requested something that was both savory and included cucumbers. After receiving the give of green Chartreuse Sunshine thought this was a great opportunity to bring it all together. Jaded has both savory and sweet qualities as well as some nice vegetal aromas from the green Chartreuse.

1 oz Green Chartreuse

.75 oz. Jamaican Rum (Appleton or J Wray)

.75 oz Gin that has a nice lime profile like Rangpur

.75 oz. Lime Cordial (equal parts lime juice and sugar)

1 oz. Strongly brewed green tea

1 tablespoon diced cucumber with peel on

Shake all ingredients in a shaker with plenty of ice until very well chilled. Strain into a couple glass and garnish with cucumber peel and sliced Rambutan.
