Sunshine, our host and award-winning amateur mixologist, shares his recipes for the cocktails featured on Zen Tiki Lounge podcast. These drinks are delicious and the recipes are updated over time. They range from simple, to complex are often stronger than they appear.

Time for some cocktails from the dark side. Try both of these at your Halloween shindig.

Voodoo Kiss

2 oz Jamaican Silver Rum (Appletone)

1oz Pimms No. 1

.5 oz Triple Sec

.25 oz Absinthe or Pernod

2 oz Fresh OJ

.5 oz Dark Agave Syrup

Combine all in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into the spookiest tiki mug you can find. Garnish with scored and burned lime wedges. The burnt lime adds an aroma to the cocktail that shouldn't be skipped.

Black Sapphire Martini

2 oz Dry Gin

.5 oz Dry Vermouth

2 oz Black Olive Juice/Brine

1 sprig of thyme, rosemary or oregano

Shake all ingredients very well with ice in a shaker. Strain into a well chilled martini glass and garnish with black olives, cherry tomato and fresh herbs.
