Sunshine, our host and award-winning amateur mixologist, shares his recipes for the cocktails featured on Zen Tiki Lounge podcast. These drinks are delicious and the recipes are updated over time. They range from simple, to complex are often stronger than they appear.

Inspiration for a cocktail can come from many places. This one happens to be a request from a podcast friend and listener. Sleeveless The Magician (catchy, huh!) is a San Diego area performer and artist. At several of our room parties and live recordings we have had the pleasure of spending some time with Sleeveless. This cocktail encompasses some of his favorite flavors and has a nice fresh, light flavor. With just a handful of ingredients that are easy to find, you will see why this drink will disappear as fast as you pour it.

1/2 Kiwi, cubed

2 ounces Guava juice or nectar

1 ounce Kiwi liquor (Shakka is best)

1.5 ounces Spiced Rum (Seven Tiki or another rum with lots of vanilla)

1/3 ounce fresh Lemon Juice

In a shaker, muddle kiwi till it is well mashed. Add all other ingredients along with 3/4 cup of crushed ice. Shake well and pour unstrained into a rocks glass. Garnish with a kiwi wheel and a lemon wedge. Cheers!
